I need a tranny how would I go about installing a turbo tranny in my n/t I have a stock sixbolt flywheel and a centreforce dualfriction clutch! Also what about an all wheel drive tranny without the diff.?

You have to use a FWD tranny, I don't think that the AWD mount the same. You will also have to make sure the tranny has the same number of splines for the axle as your axles. I belive 90-91 are 22 spline and 92-94 are 23 spline axles, but don't quote me on the year they changed.
You will need a FWD turbo tranny mount, and the spacer plate to line up the starter. You will also need a 6-bolt turbo flywheel and clutch kit. The flywheel HAS to be a FWD TURBO, or the starter will not work.

would i 91 fwd turbo tranny bolt up to a 92 4g63 n/t ... i believe it to be a six bolt (it was made in 91) ... i don't care about slowing the car down or what not ... i have ALL the turbo tranny parts i just need to know it will bolt up

The tranny will bolt up to the NT engine no problem. The ony thing I am not to sure about is the axles. The NT might be the same, just see if they fit before you put the tranny in. I used a 91 on my 90 and the axles were fine. They might have only changed the axles in 93 in the turbos when they switched to 2 piston calipers:confused:

I think I made the mistake of using a 90 turbo tranny and should have used a 91 and up with my 93NT. I'm having problems with the throw out bearing not moving far enough. My next idea is to put some spacer washers behind the ball for the lever that way I get more movement. This thing has been a pain but hopefully I will learn something as of right now it's to never to this one again! :D

If your axles fit the tranny will work. You will have to bleed the crap out of your clutch system until you can't take it anymore. You may also need a new master clutch cylindar. I had to get one for mine. Look under the dash and pull the rubber back. If there is even a hint of fluid you will need to replace it. Also make sure you have it adjusted properly. I had rebuilt mine about 5 months prior but I still had to put a new one in. The reason this pops up is that the pressure plate for the TURBO clutch is much stronger then the NT clutch. Then make sure it is bled properly and it should all work.
Hope this helps

The master clutch cylinder is less than a year old because it did leak bad with the old tranny. I also purchased a new slave cylinder as well for good measure. I did bleed the system for about 10 minutes but I'm sure it could use more. I have axles from a 91 so that part works fine. I even have the intermediate shaft on the drivers side and it all turns just fine. The car starts but there is a horrible sound no matter what gear it's or whether the clutch pedal is down. It almost seems like the starter is not lined up right but I have the right shim. It's the original 93 starter so I wonder if a 90 starter would help but everything I have looked up they are the same starter. The only difference would be is if I had an automatic. This one has me stumped but I'm not going to give up just yet,
BEN
