pacesetter short shifter: quality?

hi!

i am looking inot a short sifter. i found this one for a 1g. is it quality? does anyone have one they have had good or bad experiences with? how is the install?

Pacesetter doesn't have a very good reputation. Only thing I've bought from them was a header, blew out at a spot weld in under 400 miles, on the street. If you're getting a short shifter, save up the extra money for a B&M, you'll thank yourself forever.

ive got a 1g. do they make one for the 1g? i tought only the 2g. if they do someone correct me and tell me where to get one.

i have a pacesetter short shifter. 2 yrs and 26,000 miles later still shifts like the 1st day i put it in. no problems. but i do agree with the above post if they do make a b&m for your car i would save up and buy it.

I know for a fact that B&M does make the "EDGE" short-shifter for our 1G DSM's,but I just tried looking for the site I saw it on and I had no luck.Just ask around and I'm sure you'll find it.If not,I'll let you know when I find it cuz I'm going to order one myself.Later
