1G clutch not disengaging

I just put a slave cylinder in and my master cylinder is fine whats wrong I can get my car into gear the clutch wont disengage

I've got the same problem.
I put a new master in mine and adjusted the pedal, the slave doesn't seem to be leaking any where, if it is it's baarely.
No leaks on any of the lines.
Looked at the fork through the hole and couldn't see any problem there.

It does pump up a little but not enough to disenguage. Yes I did put new fluid in it and bleed it.

I also noticed that when i let it sit for a day it loses all pressure.

Could it just be the slave???

If so would a 93 slave work better than a 91, The 93 is bigger but my car has a tranny out of a 91 in it???? Before I got it...

i'm assuming you guys just changed your clutch recently right?
check your clutch release fork, and fulcrum(pivot).....if that isnt the problem, then your flywheel prob wasn't machined right.........

p.s. make sure your master and slave are in good condition, and that your line isnt bubbled or leaking

You got any easy way to check the fork without having too split the tranny from the engine??

sorry,,,,,,but if youve checked everything else already and it isnt a loose pedal assembly then your gonna have to drop the tranny anyway to fix it

What does the fluid do in the master cylinder when the clutch is pressed, I put a new slave in mine and it turns out the valve in the cylinder was backwards I had to put the news rings on the old cylinder and it worked fine....hope that helps
