i know 4 bolt is the way to go but i cant find one as of now. i just put another 3 bolt rear in my car but didnt get the axles from that rear, i just reused mine. passenger side rear fits fine, no leaks, but drivers side doesnt go in all the way ? why not ? what axle do i need ? ?

If it's a 3bolt then it should fit. Maybe the damn c-clip is just being stubborn going in there. Try to put a dab of grease around the clip and spline area and just keep trying to work it in. Try wiggling the other axle to get the splines to cooperate as you are pushing it in.
