I need to put a clutch in my 90 Talon Tsi Awd. I have a small problem. Im just a lowly student and i cant afford 400+ for an ACT. Ive narrowed it down to 2 choices, and i was wondering if you guys could give me some feedback on witch would be a better clutch. The two choices are Exedy and Sachs. Someone one ebay claimed that there Exedy can take a 50 shot of nos with no problems. I was told Sachs made a descent clutch, but that was from a Bmw owner.

I also plan on changing the clutch myself. Ive read a few FAQ's on it and i also have my trusty chiltons. I was wondering if theres any problems to watch out for or just some good advise.

some good advice would be to burn your chiltons and pay to have it done. doesn't sound like your ready to take on that big of a job. but if you decide to do it yourself make sure you use jack stands to hold the car up, and do not disconnect the clutch fluid line to the slave so you don;t have to bleed it later.
