ok can someone explain this to me so i know what it is exactly for sure, instead of asking people who think they know? thanx
 
drop a line to TRE or BMtranny they will be able to answer your question a lot better than most.
 
This gear you mention is the second gear that is standard in 93 and newer turbo transmissions. The "double synchro" part refers to the fact that is uses a 2-piece synchro instead of a single synchro like in earlier trannies.
