need help act2600 is killing new tre tranny.

im having problems with my ACT2600 engagement and its making my brand new TRE tranny NOT SHIFT WELL.

im 19 years old and know nothing about working on cars, nor do i have the tools to attempt.

when i got the act2600 they resurfaced my flywheel( dunno what step height ), and im now reading with act2600 u need .605-.610 or it wont disengage good.

my father said he would help me pay, but i dont know if i brought my car to a regular tranny or clutch place if they would be wasting my money or actually fixing the problem.

i need help, and need help soon, if any1 knows of a good place or any ideas for me that would be great thx.

Did you shim your pivot ball with a washer when you put it all back together? that should help out alot... also, push your clutch pedal down to the floor, let off of it, stick your foot BEHIND the pedal and pull it up towards you. did it move any? if so you've got a problem there too, you'll need to replace your clutch pedal/arm/cylender-arm-end... all of these processes are well documented : try the search button or vfaq/1000dsm?s...

shitty thing is, i have a brand new slave / master cylender and PEDAL assembly , and i have the clutch adjustment all the way out, AND IT STILL grabs at the floor

another thing that happens is when it doesnt want to go into 1st, if i put pressure towards 1st i can feel the car try to move, then i let off and do it again, i can feel the car trying to move.

well took my car apart and my flywheel was stepped to .624 ACT recommends .612. JON@TRE told me to go with .608 so thats what im doing. ill tell you how it turns out
