I'm going to be buying a 1G FWD ( 91' TSI ). I wanted an AWD, but I already have a Stealth R/T so, I'm going to be fine with a FWD Talon. My question is... If I put some DRs on it, will the tranny/CVs hold up ? I've heard from a honda guy that run DRs ( and slicks at the track ) say that if I can get the CVs the right height ( I guess by lowering the car ), that Even honda CVs cam take DRs/Slicks. The guy that told me that ran high 11's with slicks and all motor in a crx, so he's not a dumb ricer... I was thinking Nitto DRs ( goodwrichs wearout too fast ), but is it going to kill the tranny in a week ?

invest in a limited slip. i imagine drag radials could send you into a wall easy with torque steer.
