Just wondering how far out of the TC tail shaft housing the splined section/yoke sit?

Is there a visible gap where you can see the actual tailshaft seal where the splined section inserts?

Should it be this way?

Pics would be great if you have them.

I'm concerned that there may not be enough of the d/s engaging the tail shaft

Can anyone shed some light?
