I have a 1990 eclipse non turbo that i have made turbo using the non turbo engine, that is hooked to a fwd turbo transmission running 18psi steady. The problem i cannot keep a clutch in the tranny Ive been through 5 clutches 2 trans ram stage 5 full race no springs spun the input spline flat on the clutch plate shifting into second! so i gave it a little give center force dual friction clutch this lasted the longest probably three months then kaboom disintegrated into pieces took the tranny with it. ram stage 3 sprung with polyurethane over the springs hit it hard one day the springs shot out and stuck between the flywheel and clutch plate. long story short this car wont hold a clutch they either come apart or the springs pop out of them need help any ideas. The car does have urethane motor mounts this may be the problem any suggestions welcome
