anyone ever have a gear move in the trans an rub the case ans cause a small chunk of the trans case to break, trans still shifts perfect, no noises, etc, can i just have the case welded and be on my merry way , it was on the bottom, just above that brace that runs from the frt towards the rear of the car, pics will be hard to get, but thanks if u can help ?

If there is a hole in the tranny then NO do not drive it. It may drive fine now but there are parts sitting at the bottom of the tranny just wanting to jump into the gears and completly destroy things. ;)
