ACT: old 2600 PP, new street disk
I have a brand new ACT street disk from RRE installed on my car. I guess it's not brand new anymore, it has about 100 miles on it. It's mated up to an ACT 2600 PP with a date on it from 04. The flywheel is stock.
Jacks transmissions machined and matched my set up for the correct step height.
I've read some stuff about having the old styl ACT PP(the flat fingers) and it possibly rubbing the larger springs on the new style ACT disks.
Is this a guaranteed thing, or it may or may not happen??
If it is happening, can I put the car on my lift and have someone push the clutch in and I'll hear it from below the car??
I'm just trying to figure out my clutch dragging issue here.
I have installed(new from the dealer) so far: master cyl(adjusted all the way), slave cyl(bled like on TREs site), clutch fork, TOB, pivot ball(with washer), and a braided line. I also have an extended slave cyl rod(I know... bandaid)
