question about gxs half shaft on a gst

my friend was telling me that on a 1g you can take a gsx drives side axel and put it on a gst and it helps with the tractions does this work for the 2g and does anyone know what i'm talking about or is he just crazy?

Wrong. I have yet to even find a retail aftermarket supplier that has any correct axle info in their books. The driver axle has always been short and uses a jackshaft in the awd where all fwd driver axles are long with no jackshaft.

The awd driver axle in a fwd only helps with torque steer, not traction. In late 92/early 93, axle sizes changed and the awd axle no longer fit the fwd tranny. This only applies to 90-92 cars.

I was talking to a friend of mine the other day about doing this to my GST though. I hope it helps. Torque steer is not my friend.
