Is my clutch disc toast?

Here is a quick story of what happened to me and how I almost died recently thanks to the transfer case locking up. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/han...ry-about-how-i-could-have-died-yesterday.html

Cliff Notes: My transfer case crapped out and I got a new one put in.

My Spec stage 3 is now slipping at anything over 5 psi on my 16g and 2.4L. It wasn't doing this before. When the transfer case crapped out I had to move my car off the interstate ASAP. We tried to tow my car home but it wouldn't budge (locked t-case), so we kept trying to tow it while I slipped the clutch to move the car. I could tell the clutch was slipping like crazy. I know this is why it is slipping now, but do you think I can drive it enough to remove the "glaze" or is it completely toast?

I've been driving the car a bit more and it seems like it is starting to slip less and less each time I drive it. I was chattering a lot at idle and it is also starting to chatter less. It only chatters right at 1k rpm's at idle. If I give it any gas at all then it stops immediately.

I just don't want to pull it yet if I don't have it and if I'm going to pull the transmission, then I might as well replace the disc anyway. We'll see if the problems persist or continue to slowly fade. Thanks for the advice man. :thumb:

The slipping has continued to slowly go away the more I drive it. I noticed that at exactly 1k rpm's I can hear the clutch disc chattering quite a bit. It sounds like a clunking noise, but if I barely even tap the throttle it will go away instantly. I can even adjust the idle with my MAFT and the noise goes away completely with 1 or 2 clicks on the idle knob. I eventually plan on pulling the tranny off once summer rolls around and I have some time on my hands. Any ideas?
