Long story short my stock clutch went out so i bought the act2100 kit with streetlite flywheel and new rear main seal(cause of last clutch death). While everything is apart they find i need a new tranny. Bought a tranny in really good shape, no leaks and installed it.
Did the 500 miles real nice but ive had this small chatter vibration since i got the car back but it slowly went away so i didnt think anything was bad.And now after the 500 miles the clutch wont hold anything over 3.5k before slipping.

Took it back to the shop hoping it was hydraulic and we checked everything from the rear in to the pedal feel.(yes i checked slave cylinder, clutch ingages all the way)..So the shop says i have a faulty clutch from the manufactuer. Do you think i do or did they install something wrong

Where is the clutch disengagement? Is it at the very top of the pedal or towards the floor?

About 4 inches off the floor. We already put the car on a lift to check if the slave is pushing on the fork and it all looks good.

Ok really wierd.. I did a 4th gear pull tonight only pushing 10psi boost and the clutch held, but it still slips in 1st 2nd 3rd ...Havent tried 5th
any ideas?

I experienced this during my initial clutch install but mine was a 2G so it may not be the same. Anyway, the pedal just needed to be adjusted as the 2G also suffers from "Pump up" where it basically starts pushing on the clutch therefore causing it to disengage progressively. I know you mentioned that you've checked already but from my experience, when I stopped the pedal goes back to normal. Once you start driving again it'll progressively starts slipping again. So, make sure your pedal is properly adjusted I believe this is mandatory after a clutch job.

Ask them what the step height was, if there a good company they should note it. And then ask them to show you how they measured it

You should def. try adjusting it in to make sure you are completely engaging the pressure plate to the disk. If that fails and doesn't help I would go to the shop and tell them to tear it apart for free

Edit: apparently I didnt realy good as someone posted what i said already....

Well they're tearing it down thurs. to check for any obvious install errors. They told me that if they tear it down and they find they messed something up they will do the labor for free and a have to buy another clutch kit.And if it isnt their fault then i have to pay for the labor and new clutch again..Im 16 so i dont think they take me too seriously so my parents are going up there thurs. with me..

PS:Doesnt act's clutch and flywheel set up come together with the correct step height.
And should they pay for everything if it was their fault(how do i know there not lying)

That is so funny that you say that. I had the exact same issue. Vibration in the clutch pedal. Adjusted the clutch pedal... bingo bango.
