Leaking input shaft seal or output seal?

I think every friggin seal was leaking! I'll probably just replace all the seals (input shaft, and both axle seals and maybe the transfer case seal...oh and the rear crank seal) but take a look at this pic! This has got to be the 2nd greasiest car I've ever worked on! The worst was a 1978 celica that was the worst car I ever owned.

Can I replace the tranny input seal without taking the transmission apart?
A search gave me two different answers

Also, wheres the best place to get axle seals and an input shaft seal AND a transfer case input seal (if there is one????
napa or dealer or?

Thanks.

I would get all seals from the dealer. You can't replace the input shaft seal without tearing the unit apart. Unfortunately, the unit has to be just about completely torn down to get to the seal...

You may want to run your finger under the input shaft right at the TOB nose end there to see if gear oil was coming out. If it looks and feels dry, it might have been the output shaft that was leaking, but that's a lot of oil...

Thanks for the tip. I've got the motor completely apart and it is being rebuilt. I'm pretty sure that the rear crank seal was original and leaking. It probably caused alot of the oil in the pic. However, a leaking input or output on the tranny is not something I want to overlook and ruin my new clutch so I'll be digging deeper (in both the tranny and my wallet )

EDIT: Got both the output (to the t-case) and the drivers axle seal replaced. The input didn't seem to have any gear oil under it, but the output sure did even after cleaning then sitting for a while.

Also, I went to put synchromesh in the tranny after replacing the output (to t-case) seal and oil started just pouring out of the drivers side axle seal. Almost like there was no seal there at all! Replaced it last night. btw, if you can get one of those big (3 feet long) construction crow bars in there it pops that seal out like nothing.
