Either way the RRE line is still cheaper and accomplishes your purpose.

It's not worth replacing the entire line, since DOT 4 accomplishes the same result for 5% outlay, with zero aggravation. You do need to delete the annoying accumulator, and you do need to delete the one-way restrictor in the slave cylinder (see RRE's site), after that all you need is the $20 RRe line.

It would help if both of you update your car's profiles so we know what kind of car you drive.

Its for a 1998 gsx

all i needed to know was if the line in the link i provided above was one that would run from the Slave cylinder, bypass the reservior, and connect directly to the master cylinder. And if that is the duty of that specific line, then why is the slowboy one cost more.

I do not need to get the one from RRE nor do i care about what they have for clutch lines. I just needed to konw about that part from maperformance.com because I placed an order with them and was trying to decide if that was the line I was looking for.........

Slowboy carries 2 different Goodridge clutch lines.

This one is the same as the one MAP carries. I don't know for sure if this deletes the accumulator but it looks like it does. I'm sure if you call MAP or Slowboy they can tell you for sure.

This one replaces the entire line from the master to the slave. I wouldn't recommend buying this one.

You can tell by the cost.
- $20-$30 lines eliminates the accumulator and just replaces the factory rubber line.
- $70-$100 lines are the long lines that go all the way from the master cyl. to the slave cyl. and replaces the factory metal line and the factory rubber line and eliminates the accumulator.

Ya if you read my first post I was referring to the second one you provided, the $75 one. I just wanted to know if that one, and the one I provided the link for were pretty much the same thing.

Just to clarify again, no, they are not the same thing.

Why wouldn't you recommend this?
