I took my tranny out to replace 1-2 with a double syncro kit from shep. I replaced it along with 1-2 shift fork and put it back together.. When i started the car and took my foot off the clutch in neutral the tranny whines. If the rev the engine the whine get louder. Now when i put the clutch in and im stopped the whined stops. During driving it whines all the times. Even if the clutch is pushed in. I dont know what would cause it to start whinding like that. It was fine before i took it out. Any help would be great so i know what to look for when i take the tranny back out.

No i didnt replace it. It was fine when it was in before and seemed fine when i inspected it when i had the tranny out..

Yeah its filled. But there is one thing. Do you put fluid in it with the front of the car jacked up so you can get more in. Or can out just leave it flat and fill it till it starts to come out of the drain plug.

The car needs to be flat when you fill the transmission up. Fill it up until it starts to come out of the fill plug.

Well thats what i did so its not the fluid. I dont know. Someone said something about the main bearing in the tranny. I dont know what happened from when i took it apart and put it back together.

Anyone got any ideas, because i really have a feeling its not the throwout bearing..
