2G N/T Tranny in a 2G FWD GST?

Hey guys, I did some searching and couldn't find a bang on answer, so ....
Can a 2G Non Turbo FWD Tranny fit into a 2G FWD Turbo (GST)??

They have different motors...

so in short... no.

like that wasn't short enough alreay. you should notice that the trans are in different directions. the 420a has the trans closer to the right side of the car and the 4g63t has the trans on the left side of the car. For futher referance most trannys aren't interchangeable. You should now know that the 420a has the n/t trans and the 4g63t has the turbo trans.
