alright its either going to be a act 2100 or a act 2600
im looking to have about 400whp
so it has to handle that and its a everyday street car
so can u leave a thread about which clutch or pm me
thanx

there's really only one clutch that you should have no matter if you're running stock or have 400hp...go with the 2600...it's the best clutch for our cars out on the market...you won't be dissapionted...

you may run into some problems in traffic, you're leg may get tired, but that's nothing....wait until you're at the track and able to rip 1.7 60' times...then all the pain and aggervation will go away:dsm:

I agree. I have the 2600 with a lightened flywheel and race disk in my GSX and I love it. Only problem is when you first try leaving with your new clutch in, its going to take a long time to get used too. It ingages really fast and hard until you break it in. Once you do, you will love it.

What do you guys thinkg about the south bend clutches? There is a group buy for them on 3si.org and they are saying they are pretty awsome clutches. They have some non organic fibre that is supposed to last a very long time.

If you're worried about the clutch giving you crankwalk, then don't sit at the stoplights with your foot on the clutch pedal- put it in neutral and there won't be any force at all on the crank.

I also vote for the 2600. I fried my 2100 on the FWD car at about the 320 HP level with too many drag launches.

pneumo... correct me if i'm wrong, but keeping the pedal out and it in neutral = clutch engaged, so pressure on crank. I know it's better to run it in neutral at lights without clutch in, but i dont see how your reason works.
