I'm taking advantage of the cheap yet effective mods I can do. This might come off as a newbie question but I gotta ask to learn.

In that thread it explains how to make your own shifter plate bushings from washers. So here is my question, where exactly are these? I'm getting it confused between the actual shifter and the part where the linkage connects to the tranny. Also, what size washers do I get? :p
