Hey thank you for reading this.

I was told about 1 1/2 yrs ago that i needed a new clutch when i brought my car to the mitsu dealer to have them rpl the syncro's in my tranny 1-5th...

Now the problem is now that when i shift hard/fast into 2nd gear it grinds about 1 out of 5 times...

Any ideas?
Now keep in mind that the car is a 1998... I dont think the syncro's should be going bad AGAIN much less For The First Time...

Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreicated.

Try to shift into 2nd gear with the car off. If the shifting seems nice and smooth without the engine running then it could be a clutch disengagement issue. Make sure your clutch is fully disengaged when attemtping to shift gears. You may need to adjust the bolt underneath the clutch pedal. This is just something to check and would save you a lot of money if it turned out to be the problem.
