Modern Automotive Performance Clutch??

Howdy! Just wondering if anyone has used this or knows anything about it...

They had it listed under the Vendor Announcements section and I'm in need of a new clutch. Its too late to call them, so I figured I'd post...

Anyone got anything to say about these?

Are they actually made by MAP?

No they are made by competition clutch. I just bout that same clutch and flywheel. I have heard good things about this clutch so im going to try it out. I would not use this on a 7 bolt motor due to the heavy spring presssures from the pressure plate. I would go with a excedy thick 3 puck (stage 2) kit on a 7 bolt.

Yeah, after some further investigation, I found that out. Didnt know "Competition Clutch" was a company, just thought that MAP was using it as an adjective statement

But they are expensive! I'm trying to save myself some money on this, that's why I was asking about the Comp clutch. I was origonally looking at ACT's 2100-equiv, but the Comp Clutch is about $75 cheaper, but holds more.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

yes i am in the same boat as you i need to order a clutch by the end of the day. my act 2100 took a dump on me so i'm looking at that clutch too.. some good info would be nice
