ok to brake torque with stock trany? automatic

Just wondering how much Brake torquing would hurt the trany havnt done it yet but ive been wanting to try it. BTW i have a auto

It's not real bad. Just don't hold it for more then 5 seconds, and wait a while in between power brake sessions. Power braking heats up the fluid very fast, so try not to do it for very long at a time or it can overheat your tranny and give it a short life. But if done right it won't hurt anything.
 
Normally I don't powerbrake for more then 3 seconds. What I do is press the brake and hold it while I floor the car for three seconds. Then I just let the brake go and let her rip.
