Just was curious as to what this might be , my previous car did it also . There is a slight click/clunk / pop sound coming from the clutch pedal when i release it ( alough it does do it when i press it in just not as bad ) does it once or twice on a release about half way

oops forgot to mention , ever since the rebuilt engine has been put in the axel seals have been leaking . I got the person who did the build to change the seals again after i found greenish juices of joy on my driveway .. Am I missing something here? .. is there something else that can leak around that area I dont see?

My clutch pops too. I looked at it one day and it looks like the return spring was just moving and clicking everytime I actuated the pedal. It's annoying but not a big deal. As far as the leak, trans fluid should be amber, not green. There are 4 seals on the trans, the input shaft, the output shaft and both diff seals.
