Hey all, from my searching it seems that everyone is sending their transmissions to either TRE or Shep. I have heard nothing but good things about both companies, but the fact of the matter is that I got a n/t 4g63 thats only pushin out 120hp so I dont need a top of the line trans. Is there anywhere on the net I can look for a rebuilt F5M22 trans? I found a few used ones on dsmsource.com, but they are all used. Would a rebuilt trans from the dealer cost about as much as a shep or TRE unit? Im also in kind of a pinch, I need the trans in by end of next week, so I might not have enough time to send it to be rebuilt and then sent back to me. Thanks in advance guys, I havent found anything yet.

Theres a few stores off of ebay that have some good deals, I would check there first if you want to stay stock, but do your research on the companies and make sure they are legit before hand. The ones I have seen even offer extened warranties. One of the bigger ones is down in texas and has fair prices. The other is a major tansmission shop in AZ that specializes in rebuilding for dealerships. I cant remember tha names off hand but if you look up the trans on ebay and check them out I do remember they have a company website, not just through ebay, and you can check with the bbb in their area to make sure its on the up and up.

well I broadened my search on eBay and I found one from Herbert's used auto parts in NH. It says it comes with a 6 month warranty, but it doesnt say if its reman or used. Im still waiting to here back from him, but hes got over 300 positive comments, so he seems pretty good so far.
