Well. I finally got my car running good, and went to make a few full logs with dsmlink. I went WOT in 2nd gear, 2000 rpm, and ran it to about 7000, then hit the 2-3 shift. It didn't feel like it went all the way in, so i re clutched it and slid the shifter in all the way up. It grabbed just fine, I ran it to about 6000 when i car came around the next corner, so i backed off and put it in neutral.

After I got back to 50mph, I went to put it in 5th, but the shifter wouldn't go. Same for all other gears. I was able to rpm-match, and get it into gear without the clutch, so i limped it back to work. Seeing it would go into gear with out the clutch, i assumed either pressure plate, or clutch hydraulics.

That night, i went to go home. I tried to start the car in first gear, and holly crap the noise!!! I popped it into neutral, and tried again. Still noise like hell. It honestly sounds like the started not disingaging!

Any ideas on what i broke? I tried re-bleading the clutch, and it didn't do anything. I can see the clutch fork moving, and it seems to move the same it always did. I also peeked in the botom of the bellhousing, and didn't see anything abnormal. Although,m the outside of the tranny case seemed wet, but i don't know if that is unrelated, because i have a breather leak on the valve cover, and since i was rapping on the car, it night just be from that!!

Thanks for any help!

i did check bell housing visually, but i will check the starter. does this not sound like a common tranny symptom, or are you just trying to give me hope!?!?

i had a similar problem too..come to find out the back bolt behind the engine that holds the motor to the tranny fell out...i had an extra one from the dealer tried putting it...the SOB is stripped...i gotta take the tranny out and heli coil that sucker...anybody know what size the thread is?? that way i get the right size heli coil thread.

thanks.

**UPDATE**

Just for anybody elses future questions. I finally discovered the problem.

The rivets in the CFDF clutch plate broke, and small metal parts were bouncing around in the bell housing.

Yay centerforce!!!
