BG sycroshift II or Redline ?

Ive narrowed it down to two selections after doing a lot of research on the subject. Im not very educated on trannys so i would like your opinions. I currently have a TRE tansmission with Quaife Diff in my 98 FWD, i use Penzoil Sycromesh in it and my up shifts are clunky and the tranny does not shift as smooth as i would like. I live in St. Louis MO so the temps now are around 70-90 degrees. Which fluid would you recomend i put in, BG sycromesh II or a Redline Fluid (pleas specify which redline fluid) or even a combo of the two?

oh crap. i somehow confused BG with GM. count my vote out.

id say go with redline because its thicker which will help when the temperature is hot. some people use the thinner fluids because when its cold it makes shifting easier since it takes less time for the fluid to warm.

I use BG in my "race" dsm and Penzoil Syncromesh in my street car.

You have to be much more specific about which Redline fluid you are talking about. MTL is the closest thing to BG, but many people are now using Shockproof, which is MUCH thicker, but should NOT be used by itself...
