No ####....Anyways, how hard is it to replace the boots on the rack and pinion? both my driverside and passanger side boots are ripped and leaking powersteering fluid all over the place, i want to keep my power steering, but if its to hard to do, i'll just end up cutting the belt.. My car is a 95 talon Tsi fwd w/ a six bolt

The boots don't hold the fluid in... the seals do. You probably got dust and dirt in there B/c of the ripped boots and that ate the seals. You should just get the rack rebuilt, or scrounge one off another car..
