Ok so my tranny (recently rebuilt by a reputable shop here in town) is scratching going into 3rd (not grinding like a worn synchro) and when shifting the engine continues to rev. (100-200 rpms) This is between the depressing of the clutch pedal and the applying of the gas. Its almost as if I were holding the gas down while shifting but I am not. Does the clutch need adjusting? and if so which way do I turn the screw.

So, for instance, if you are at 3000rpm and you depress the clutch pedal the rpms to to 3100-3200? That wouldn't be anything related to a clutch adjustment, that sounds electronic.

I was guessing clutch becuase of a rebuilt tranny and the slight grab before 3rd engages. I was also thinking boost related if the lineses from the smim were run incorrectly. Im still working the bugs out of the car from a previous owner. thanks for the ideas Electronic? Like what?

This may sound stupid, but in my GS-T, i had a sticky gas pedal, that everytime I would push the clutch in, the RPM's would just shoot up, turned out the gas pedal would take a second to return, so make sure ## gas pedal is well lubed up.
