Ok. I am driving around and everything is fine. I pull into a parking lot an park my car and the car stalls out like i havn't disengaged my clutch. But i have the pedal pressed to the floor.

So all at once, i can't disengage my clutch. So I pull her down. Put in a LSD insert, new SBR 3500 clutch and pressureplate, new throwout bearing, new release fork. No clutch disengagement. No biggie. I just wanted an excuse for my wife to get the new clutch.

New slave cylinder. No clutch disengagement.

Rebuild master. No clutch disengagement.

1/4 inch longer slave rod. No clutch disengagement.

Shim up the release fork with a couple of washers. No clutch disengagement.

Each time, I bleed using a vacuum line and a clear container and a friend pumping as i tighten and untighten the bleeder valve until i see no air bubbles in the clear container.

I see the slave move the fork. How far should the fok move? 1/2 inch. 1/4 inch. 1 inch? What's going on??!!

P.S. I also have my pedal adjusted out so that there's about 2-3 threasd left on the master rod.

Only thing I can think of is checking the play in your clutch pedal assembly.

You can also try to adjust the clutch out even more, to no threads showing and see if you have any improvement.

Ok. I'll try it... Should i try an even longer slave rod? How far does the slave rod typically travel?

Ok. I tried a longer slave rod. And it worked. It's an awesome clutch. She grabs hard. There's not much more than stock pedal pressure.

ANOTHER PROBLEM: I don't have a 5th gear. I disengage the clutch and roll the shifter into 5th it slides in and i let out the clutch and the shifter jumps out into the neutral position. I dropped in an LSD insert while i had my tranny down. This involves pulling 5th gear apart. Has anyone else had a problem like this? What would be out of place that would caus this symptom?
