avenger shift linkage, brake pedal assembly in 2G eclipse?

I just bought a wrecked 96 avenger with a 2L 420A M/T to replace the engine in my 99 GS and was also thinking of possibly changing from A/T to Manual. I was wondering if the tranny, shift linkage, and pedal assembly is the same? Anybody?????

It will work. Definitely swap it over to MT

I agree, everything there is the same (420a eclipse, avenger, sebring), good luck.
