1G-specific Tranny Shifts Terribly. PLEASE HELP!

Hey

I have been struggling with this for the last couple of weeks. First my car clutch would not disengage fully (might still be the problem) and so I replaced the slave and that seemed to make the car at least driveable.

Basically what is happening now is that my car will shift into gears but it is extremely hard to do and sometimes it will grind. It is really hard to shift when it is cold but once it warms up it does much better but still not what it use to be. Why would that be?!

I was about ready to drop the transmission thinking that my pivot ball and fork were bad but my clutch was not disengaging right of the floor today but it was still impossibly hard to shift. I am seriously about ready to give up on this car. I would just drop the transmission but this is my only car until I get my other one running.

I'm starting to think that either my transmission/clutch is toast or it is really something easy to fix. I'm just frustrated as hell with this. Please some suggestions or comments.

Also forgot to add. ACT 2600 Clutch, XACT Flywheel, New mitsu TOB (4k miles), SS clutch line. The slave and master are working great but it just seems like it isn't disengaging because it just shifts like shit.

The clutch pedal assembly is fine. No problems there.

Is there any way to check the fork while the car is together? I pulled away the boot but can't really see anything going on in there.

The problem is progressively getting worse. It basically won't go into gear until it pretty much matched with the revs(rarely grinds). I just wish I could drop the tranny right now but I still need to fix my other car first.

Any other suggestions.

This is just a thought but you might as well start with the easy stuff. Maybe you need to bleed the master/slave cylinder. You said you just changed it perhaps theres some air in there. Or maybe not but like i said might as well check the easy stuff first.
