OK, I know that this is probably a newbie question, but I couldn't find the answer anywhere. Anyway I am looking to get an act2600 and apparrantly I have 3 choices: fullfaceplate, 6-puck, and 4puck. The full faceplate holds the least amount of torque so why is it the most expensive. I would like to get the 6-puck, but is there an advantage of the full faceplate. Thanks for the help guys.

The full face(street disc) is probably the best way for you to go. It will be the best driving clutch out of the 3 and to be honest, you are along way from needing anything more. The 4 puck and 6 puck from act have a solid center, not sprung so they are very aggresive and a pain in the ass to drive on the street. They are also very hard on drivetrain parts so count on numerous reapairs of broken ceter diffs, u-joints, etc if you havent already replaced or upgraded them.

I still run the street disk and it is holding up fine. It has been in my car for a few years and I am just now starting to make enough power for it to slip on gear changes. Your current setup will not overpower a street disk with the 2600pp.

Another newbie question... I am assuming that by 2600pp you mean pressure plate, that comes with the clutch and all for like $400 right or is that another expense?

I was talking about the pressure plate which is part of the kit. Only other expenses I would recommend is a new clutch fork for the tranny and a braided clutch line.

Alright, thanks a lot for the help. So even if I build the car up enough to run low 12's I will still be fine with the faceplate right?

Mine is still holding and Im guessing it will run in the 11's. I havent run it it quite a while but with the old turbo, it ran low 12's with no issues. I will hope to see what it will run in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks so much, I have decided to go with the faceplate so that if I do end up wrecking anything it won't be my tranny and my car will still be streetable. Thank you 92awddsm
