Alrite i just finished installing a new xact flywheel and a new act2100 clutch kit and at first it was a pain getting the car to go in first gear! then everything started working smoothly! not to many grinds and clutch felt stiff! people where like damn thats hard!! i was like yup! act talking like act was any good! if it went out i am going to get somethign else i am thinking exedy organic! i heard alot of good things about that clutch so i am going to try it! well this is what i think happend! pressureplate went out burned out or something! bec i have not engagement it feels like crap and i changed the slave cylinder and the clutch master cyl is also new, and its not the cable bec the slave is moving so that would mean that the cable is working and i have not tried to adjust the pedal that is not the solution i tell you that much! well my question is has anyone heard anything good about that exedy clutch and! i am going to be dropping the tranny and doing everything my self this time got a body with a cool garage with engine lifter etc.. all the good stuff! to make it go smoother then last time! any tip or suggestions , i am going to go step by step with the guide here on dsmtuners... well thanks for any help.

just to let you know that the disc that come in ACT kits are made by Exedy, it says it right on them.. also i would recommend adjusting the pedal along with the master cylinder from underneath the pedals. try backing it out. I have a 2600 kit installed in my 1g and it didnt engage at all when i first installed it. i had to actually make a longer slave rod so it would engage and adjust the master cylinder by backing out the rod. after that it shifted perfect and the 2600 is not much stiffer from the OEM(it is stiffer but its definetly streetable).
