AWD to FWD

Just a quick question, need to know if you can swap an AWD 1G to a FWD. There are no AWD dyno within three hours of Columbia, SC and there is a shop right up the street that is about to install a 2WD dyno. I know that my buddy in his 95 AWD could take his transfer case out and run it FWD to get it dyno'd.

I am just having a lot of problems tuning my car and would like to get it on a dyno/wideband.
