Smoked stock clutch, looking at Exedy stage 1 organic

Okay here's the deal, i smoked my stock clutch. I leanred how to drive manual on it and it had 75k miles.

I'm short on cash, my mods are basically nothing. injen intake, apex'i N1, and toyo proxes T1-s. probably the most i will do is BOV, run 15 psi, and full exhaust. so my estimate is like under 225 hp

I refuse to spend money on a stock part, if i can spend the same about of money and get an aftermarket part thats maybe a little better than stock, then at least I'm getting a mod out of it.

anyways I'm looking at an Exedy stage 1 organic clutch kit. I found one cheap for under $200 The stock clutch is like $250, my car is sitting at the dealership and they want to rape me.

so question is, is the Exedy organic a good route to go? will it hold up for long enough? i NEVER launch, don't even know how. my car club says i drive like a grand ma. but lots of stop and go dt driving to work.

any opinions would be great. I know its not an ACT 2100, but i don't have the cash. basically all I'm concerned with is its BETTER than going stock. even if only slightly. btw how much better than stock would you say it is?

I fried my stock clutch and got the centerforce dual friction clutch. Ihave not had a good experence with this clutch. I think it is wearing out already. I am starting to get bad pedal pressure again. I have heard decent thing about the Exedy clutch so It sounds like a good deal. Hopefully some one who is using one will post with their .02
