4 bolt ???

How do I find out if my car has a 4 bolt rear or not? I have a 93 Talon TSi awd(obviously). Thanks in advance guys.

Crawl under the rear end and look at how many bolts are used to attach the axle to the hub at the wheel.
Or don't worry about it because I believe all AWD after mid '92 used 4 bolt axle hubs. But you can still crawl under and check if your 4 bolt is LSD or not

I am assuming 4 bolts are better. Am I correct?

The axles are thicker and the mounting to the wheel hubs are stronger.
If you don't drop the clutch it doesn't matter too much until you get lots more HP than I have.

If you get the max from that turbo and get too agressive with the clutch, then you might have trouble with some other parts of the drivetrain before the 4 bolt rear end gives out. I'm thinking maybe center diff and transfer case here.

89-91 had 3-bolt rears and 92-99 had 4 bolt rears i believe
