When i make a right turn, I can hear a clicking sound from the left rear area. I've heard people saying a bad CV joint/boot would cause this problem. Today when I changed the clutch cylinder, I also jacked the rear end up to see if there is any torned boot or grease. The problem is... I don't see any torned boot nor grease everywhere. I ran around town and couldn't find any place that sells rear axels either. Can anyone tell me if the rear axel is bad? and where to get the fix? The clicking sound only comes when I make a right turn, not left. A right turn with a left rear clicking sound. Please help me because the car is going on a road trip soon..

are you sure its coming from the rear? the sound you are saying would most commonly be a front cv joint on the outboard side (closest to the wheel) jack the rear end up and feel the drive shafts for any grinding or extra looseness as well as the wheel bearings. check your front shafts too, never know.

I had my friend drove my car and I ran along with the car, the clicking sound did come from the rear left wheel area. I put my hand on the rear fender while running with the car and I felt the vibration(pulse) but it was hard to tell where it really came from. I will try to jack the rear end up and see if the sound is still there. Anyone else? And if I do need the axle replaced, where can i get a replacement one? (Pepboys, autozone and advanced auto parts don't have those)

I've found the solution to myself. The answer is "NO", the axle was perfectly fine. My left rear lugnuts were loose, they created the clicking sound when the car changes angles. Thnx for the help and hope this might help someone who ran into the same problem.
