I'm trying to figure if I should get the act 2900 or sbr 4000 for my new 2.4L setup. I know the 2900 is rated for 594 ft/lbs. But I would like the pedal presure of the sbr. So anyone know how much tq the sbr 4000 clutch is rated for?

SBR 4000 is good for 580 foot lbs. of torque. I thought it would be 600 or a little bit more because we have put that much down on it but Competition Clutch just confirmed it for me that 580 is the magic number.

I just got done installing the SBR 4000 HD clutch with a TRE tranny. It replaced a ACT 2600 and the pedal pressure is at least half of what the ACT was. My friend with a 2100 tried my setup and said it felt lighter than his. Unfortunately, I am still working on a few other things before I get the car back on the road. I will post my experience once everything is broken in.

What's the torque rating on the SBR 3500?
