Oliver,
Heres the deal.
Have a 92 motor out of a tsi fwd and put it into a 93 tsi awd. Put the trans in on the weekend and now the slave cylinder wont fit because it is hitting on the bracket that comes of the motor to the front mount and the bolt in the mount is twisted up on the engine side. Also the tranny mount is pushed about a half inch towards the fire wall.

So my question is are the backets that come off the motor both front and rear different from the fwd and the awd?

Any help would be appreciated. And no I do not have the original motor the guy I bought the car off of blew it up.

:talon:

just the engine not the tranny. put the awd tranny back in to get everything back together and stopped because of this.

to everyoene who is doing a motor swap the fwd brackets off the the motor and the awd brackets are different. :thumb:
