I have a 92 eagle talon with a transmission from a jdm VR4. I went to walmart and got in my car to leave, I push in the clutch and turn the key and the car started moving!!.. I Released the clutch and it started coasting with the e-brake off. I pumped it up and down a couple times and it finally allowed me to start the car with moving the car. I then pushed in the clutch and put it in gear and released the clutch. Car stood still, I proceeded to push the clutch back in and the car started to move.. Basically the total opposite of how the clutch should work.. Could this be a messed up throw out bearing? or clutch master cylinder?? I know my master cylinder is only about 2 years old. Any info would help.

I would say you have either a broken clutch line, bad master cylinder seal or slave cylinder. to check the master cylinder pull the carpet away from the inside and see if it is leaking, check under the engine for leaks as well. See how much clutch fluid is in the reservoir.

hey gsxhick, Winterport Dragway opens may 1st!!!! cant wait, ill be there with Meh987 (chuck) in his gsx and gst. see you there.

Thats odd. I'd get in and check the mechanical linage to the master cylinder from the clutch petal..see if anything is broken causing it to act in a reverse fashion. Its just guess..maybe someone has had this specific problem before.

Not leaking any fluid at all. Plus i had no problems for about a year. So it's kinda odd. it actually started working correctly again. I think it's a master cylinder or air in the line that's causing the problem. Oh well.. I'm going to pull the 6 bolt and the tranny I think and just build up the 6 bolt and do the swap into my 99 gsx. Scrap the rest of the car. The body isn't in the best shape anyways.
