Clutch chatter anyone?

When my car is idle i hear this slight chatter comming from the transmission and when i push the clutch in it goes away what would be causing this? I just recently installed a act flywheel and act 2100lb clutch kit and used the throwout bearing that comes with the kit..

Most use the Mitsu throwout bearing. Mine did the same thing until I install a 2100 with the act flywheel and it went away or atleast I havn't noticed it, belts started to squeel again when cold

I think the noise was from a worn throwout bearing...?

I won't be to concerned since I drove my car for 2 years with that noise...might wanna search some more though.

I get the same thing Was there before my 2100 and after so I can't say for sure what mine is. First time I heard it I thought CW! But it's not, everything checks out ok. I hope my tranny lasts a while if I'm nice to it.

Its most likely your input shaft bearing. I had this problem but just bought a used tranny and that fixed it.

Would just like to list what the chatter was.. My shield on the driver side of the transmission was missing 3 bolts making it vibrate.. now the transmission is very very quiet and the car sounds amazing at idle now.
