Is this a 2100 or 2600 clutch?

I bought an ACT 2600 clutch kit off of eBay awhile back and installed it on my new 6-bolt. The kit was opened, but not used...it came with an ACT 2600 package and Extreme stickers and street disc, but I just want to make sure as the clutch doesn't feel heavy when I drove it for engine break-in.

On the back of the fingers on the plate, the numbers 121 are inscribed on it. On the front, there is the SFI sticker and the code: CO48988.

I searched this and found that there may be a difference in the PP finger thickness between the 2100 and the 2600 so I put a dial caliper on it it they measured about 5mm thick if that helps.

Thanks

Hmm, I know the numbers actually indicate what clutch it is. The 121 might mean 2100, and 126 would be the 2600 but I am not positive. Hopefully someone posts the actual numbers becuase I am buying a used one and forgot the numbers that should be on the clutch.

You should definatly be able to feel a big difference with pedal pressure. When I have my clutch pushed in for more then alittle bit, My leg starts to shake. Although I only weigh 119lbs ROFL

Well I haven't driven a stick for the 7 months mine was down so its hard to compare for sure. I've got strong legs, but I still think I should fell a little toughness in the clutch. It grabs just fine, I just want to make sure that I have a 2600 before I put my transmission back on.

I don't have the diaphragm numbers with me but the diaphragm on the HD (often called 2100) is under 3mm thick throughout and the Xtreme (alias 2600) is about 4mm thick on the fingers and steps down right at the ouside of the fingers where it meets the pivot ring. The Xtreme also has a ring welded to the top of the cover stamping for reinforcment.

I measured the fingers right where it meets the throw-out-bearing and came up with close to 5mm.

Would you be able to tell from this pic if it had the ring welded to the top cover stamping? I can get different pics if it would make it more clear. Thanks

Yes, that's the Xtreme.
