And thats just what they did . Don't worry I have set of new oem axles waiting to go in. I just had to share these pics. Axles have approximately 140,000 miles on them.

not really worth it when boot kits are not much cheaper than axles. take time and wear and tear and you will probably be better off buying a new shaft. I never pay over $60 for a shaft and boot kits are like $50 wherever i called.

Holy f***. You are getting ripped off. NAPA overnighted my boot kit for $15 plus tax. Comes with boot, both clamps, grease, locking ring, and cotter pin.

As far as know these are the factory axles, I already had one spare from my buddy's parts car so I just went ahead and bought another. At first I was only gonna replace the boots, but I figured i'd just replace the whole thing instead.

My buddy keeps snapping Advance Auto Reman shafts in his 90. I am running original shafts in my car as far as I know, and have had no problems. I have had a ripped boot for a year or so now, and pull 1.8 60's on them. I tend to think that old stockers > autoparts reman axles.

i used to bust CV boots after about 5K miles when i had my auto. after the swap to the 5spd i havn't busted one yet and it's been about 10K miles.
