A/t Tranny Screamed For Two Days, Slipped And Now Wont Go...help!

I BOUGHT A 92 AWD TALON ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND LOVE THE CAR, BUT HERE IS THE THING I RECENTLY TOOK A TRIP OVER A LONG HILL AND IT STARTED SQUEELING SO I LOOKED UNDER THE CAR AND COULDNT FIND A THING SO I KEPT GOING CAUSE IT DIDNT LOOSE POWER OR GET HOT AND NO WARNING LIGHTS CAME ON SO I DROVE IT HOME AND ON THE WAY THE SQUEELING STOPPED I HEARD A COUPLE OF CLUNKS AND IT DROVE NORMAL FOR ABOUT 3 MORE DAYS THEN IT STARTED SLIPPING AND THEN NOTHING. SO I PULLED THE TRANNY AND FOUND THE TRANSFER CASE GEARS WERE SHEARED OFF AND THE BEARINGS WERE FRIED SO I ASSUME THAT WAS MY SQUEEL BUT I CANT FIGURE OUT WHY IT WONT AT LEAST GO FORWARD BECAUSE I CAN FEEL IT GO INTO GEAR SHOULDNT THE FRONT AT LEAST MOVE IT? IF ANYONE HAS A CLUE TO MY PROBLEM OR KNOWS WHERE TO BUY INTERNAL PARTS FOR MY TRANSFER CASE PLEASE LET ME KNOW

I had the same thing happen to me,, now my car wont move but i can feel it go into gear and every thing

the more i search for a fix the more i figure that this might have happened....first my exhaust was leaking right on my transfer case and on top of never having the recall work done and the way the bearings looked that is why it stopped completly a couple of days later.As far as the screaming i heard i figure it had to be the differential right before it took a shit, therefore i only had a rear wheel drive car and didnt know it, until the transfer case went and then nothing. So I the way i figure it that is why i could feel the tranny go into gear because ther wasnt anything wrong with it except for the diff. and when the transfercase spun all of its teeth off no go. if you have any more info on your problem please let me know because i am still trying to find a way to put mine back together and see if i am right.
