I finally ordered their newest model, the OFE series clutch

It uses a fairly stock pressure plate(1800lb) but the focus is on the clutch material

Its a feramic/mild metal hybrid, feramic on the flywheel side, and some organic/metalic material on the pp side

This means it should be very drivable, chatter free and hold ALOT of torque and alot of heat

One thing i hope it DOESNT do is chatter or make noises being that it has feramic in it.

They promised me it wont do it, we'll see after I install it

It should be good to 375-400whp

How is this holding up for you? My clutch is on it's last legs and South Bend Clutch sure does look like the best option to me at this time but I don't see many reviews about them.

The are big into the diesel towing and pulling end of the clutch market and good at it.

The feramic/feramic ought to be good as well...

Me personally
I'm running something pretty tight once it gets here....

I also had interest in the south bends...

I'm using the dxd feramic clutch with a lightweight flywheel and I can't recommend it enough. So far it's handled everything I've thrown at it with no drivability problems at all. It has just a little more pressure then stock-around the feel of an act 2100 and it never chatters or makes any noise.
edit-It only lasted for 6000 miles and was completely worn down to the rivets. The vast majority of those miles were spent breaking in my new motor with a evo 3 turbo. I never launched on the clutch and it gave up its ghost the very first time I did a pull with my gt30r.

it really is a great clutch, i got their hybrid organic/feramic clutch and it holds like a champ, is as light as stock and wont have any affect on crank walk, because they increase clamp through a better friction material, like it should be done

its a great clutch, i would recommend it

So far putting 342whp through it and not even close to slipping, it engages very smoothly but with authority, if you drop it accidentally, you know it grabs hard, but you can still drive it like a stock clutch

I live about 5 minutes from South Bend clutch and here is my take on them.

Somewhat good clutches, HORRID customer service. I had the center splined section of my clutch disc come apart and when I brought it in to them they said "this happens all the time w\ Eagle Talons". The clutch never slipped on me and I LOVED the feel of it but I will never put another one of their clutches in my car due to the fact that the center section always is loose on them IMO.

Peter at south bend is awesome, I can't see anyone having a problem with him. They are HUGE for the dodge cummins combo and have lots holding over 600 RWHP with them. They always come up on the DTR forums and guys sware by them.
