anybody running sbr 3500 carbon kevlar clutch? I'm picking up a new clutch in about two weeks and am deciding to go with this. sbr says no break in, same clamping force as a 2600, but half the peddle feel. any thoughts

I'm considering this as well

i keep trying to find out what the general opinion is, but only a few people are using it

I have a good centerforce pp sitting in the garage. I think I may buy one of the SBR disc's and see how it does with the centerforce pp... More clamping force than a stock pp but not as much as a 2600. Of course this won't be for a while because I haven't even assembled my motor yet.

Any thoughts?

we're running it in a 400hp 1g right now, got around 500 miles on it so far...launched the other night felt good/solid.

we destroyed 2 act disks and 1 center force disk so far in this car

I Just ordered the SBR 4000HD clutch today, I'll see it's good, I talked to Nathan about it (great guy) and look like a good purchase... time will tell, I destroyed an ACT in less then 3 month of (hard) daily driving...

i am in fact going to order it. The price is right, no break in(so they say),comes with the mitsu to bearing(no big deal, but a plus). I just hear to many mixed reviews about act most awd's love them, some don't. I would just like to know I have other options. If It doesn work I know the ACT is tried and true, and I will stick with what works. I know it will be a 50/50 chance and an expensive lesson, but hey as soon as I get the 3500 I will post a review.

i ordered one yesterday, will be going on this weekend if i have all my parts in time!!

ps. i got the 3500

I just installed a SBR disk with a ACT 2600 pressure plate about 2 weeks ago. It seems good so far but I haven't abused it yet and with the snow were getting it's going to be hard to do.
