Theres a hole in my tranny!

Alright so heres what happened!I bounced my car off the rev limiter by accident and all i heard was a big bang,checked under the car and found a piece of flywheel.Theres a whole in the bellhousing and thats it,Do you guys think anything else got damaged?Have u ever heard of this happening? And what do you think I should do now?? I want to keep the car for sure but do I have to replce the whole tranny ??thanks guys

You'll have the pull the tranny and replace the bell housing section for sure. The stock flywheel is unreliable. Its not uncommon. You'l have to see what else is damaged by inspection.
