Ok yes i have searced and I didnt find anything that really helped me, so here is what is going on.

At about 11:30pm I go to my friends to sleep over and evrything is working great. I have pedal pressure it shifts nice its all good. So the next morning i go to leave and I notice I cannot put it into any gear, at this point the clutch still has pressure. So i leave it there and then about 20 minutes later my dad comes and he tries it and now there is barley any clutch pressure.

Now we are not able to get it into any gear, there is no grinding or anything i just cant physicly push it into gear. So I open up the clutch fluid resevuior and notice there is nothing in it, i bought some clutch fluid and filled it up and tried it, i pumped the clutch and manage to build a little pressure and it lets me shift now, but the moment after i stop shifting, and dont pump the clutchm i cannot shift again. I know there is a way to bleed it but i am not sure how i know here are some tech articles about that here, i am really hoping that is my problem.

So basicly now i have to pump the clutch about 10-15 times then i can move it into gear but once i put the clutch in to put it into another gear i cannot move it. Any suggestion will help alot thanks in advance, I have 96 n/t manual, bone stock. Thanks guys

Look under the dash at your clutch pedal and the rod and see if there is any fluid leaking out of it. Same thing happened to me and the problem was that the clutch master cylinder was leaking. I've had to replace it on both of my Eclipse's, each time at about 85,000 miles. If there is a dark spot on the carpet by the clutch then thats a dead give away. Otherwise, it could also be leaking at the slave cylinder which is underneath the car but my money's on the master cylinder. You can get a rebuild kit from Kragen for like 7 dollars I think, or a new one for around 90 I believe. The rebuild will only work if the inside of the master cylinder is not pitted so if your trying to go cheap you can try that first and if it still leaks after the rebuild then you have to buy a new one, or you can just buy the new one straight out and be sure and done with it =).

Good luck.

i think he will notice if it is pitted.
also you might want to check the clutch fluid lines from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder for leaks it could be a cheap fix, though i doubt it is.

to bleed it the bleeder valve should be on the slave cylinder, that is right on the transmission. i am not 100% sure about on a n/t but most trannies have the bleeder on the slave, and the slave is bolted on the tranny.

I was having the same problem with my 97 GST and i put some fluid back into the resevoir and the clutch works now but it sticks about halfway back out when i let my foot off the pedal and it is a little bit difficult to get it into gear sometimes. That was about three days ago and the fluid has not receded at all so i do not think that there is a leak but i will check under the pedal for fluid etc. If anyone has any suggestions on why it is still a little bit difficult to get it into gear sometimes please let me know, thank you

if you have no clutch preasure than its your fluid... thats why you cant get it in gear. if you cant engage the bearing to contact the clutch then your not going to be able to shift. check the hardlines and see where the leak is... put fluid in the resavore[spelling?] and have someone push the clutch in and release over and over its gonna leak from somewhere

just fill up your master with a ton of fluid, bleed it at the slave, and have someone pump the pedal like crazy and start looking for leaks. if you want to remove all doubt, replace both the slave and master for a grant total of $60. also, if your hardline is breaking, replace it with a SS teflon line.
